As has been stated previously we have a very limited supply of Hawaiian Red Turmeric. Covid and Retirement have taken its toll on the supply chain. In addition, we have chosen to surrender our expensive, unnecessary , and virtually meaningless Organic Certification. I can tell you we have a quality product that has been raised in rich Hawaiian Honomu SOIL with many organic amendments under the direction of a meticulous Farmer with 40 years experience. Unfortunately, we have had to raise the price to accommodate shipping, labor, and input increases. In most produce displays where Turmeric is sold buyers see only small, old, and often mildewed fingers of yellow Indian Turmeric. Even if it is the same red variety as ours; many are small, scarred and exhibit no aroma at all. At PCF we pack Hands of Turmeric that are exclusively one variety that are delivered to our customers within 72 hours of harvest. Break one and sniff it. If it smells good, buy it and eat it daily!

I want to try my hand at growing turmeric in my backyard garden. After unsuccessfully trying to grow store-bought, the description of this red turmeric convinced me to give Piner Creek a try.
